Golden State Warriors Roster News On Sunday
USA TODAY Sports

On March 2, the Golden State Warriors officially signed Lester Quinones to a 10-day contract.

The former Memphis star went undrafted this past summer, and has spent the year in the G League.

On Sunday, his 10-day contract officially expired (via Keith Smith).

Smith on Sunday: "Lester Quinones 10 Day contract with the Golden State Warriors has expired. The Warriors can signed Quinones to second 10 Day deal, but he'll have to sign for the remainder of the season to remain with Golden State after that."

In his time with the Warriors, he did not make an appearance in a game, so he has yet to make his NBA debut.

That said, Quinones is having a fantastic season in the G League with averages of 20.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest.

With his deal expiring, the Warriors now have an open spot on their 15-man roster (via Hoops Rumors).

Therefore, they are a team to keep an eye on over the next few days because they can sign any available free agent.

The Warriors have won the NBA Championship in four out of the last eight seasons (including in 2021-22), but they have had an up-and-down 2022-23 season.

Right now, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 35-33 record in 68 games.

At home, the Warriors are an unbelievable 28-7 in 35 games at that the Chase Center, but on the road, they are just 7-26 in 33 games.

On Monday night, they will host the Phoenix Suns in San Francisco, California.
