The losing seems to continue in Washington as the Wizards are now on a 16-game losing streak. Things have took a turn for the worst and things continue to go from bad to worst. The Wizards now have the worst record in the entire league. They are the only team in the league with a single digit amount of wins as they are now 9-53. The good news is that the Charlotte Hornets are in town tonight and currently have the second longest losing streak as they have loss their last five games. This is the best chance for the Wizards to end their losing streak tonight as they host the Charlotte Hornets.

The Bottom Line

This is the final series matchup between the Wizards and Hornets. The Hornets currently hold a 2-1 lead for the season series. However, the Washington Wizards are hoping to even the score tonight in D.C. It won’t be easy, however it can be done as the Wizards had one of their best wins of the season in their first matchup. This game is all about containment. The player many think of who will hurt them the most is LaMelo Ball. He is an all-star in this league when fully healthy. However, the Wizards will need to focus on Brandon Miller. He has a bit of Paul George in his game. He is a tall, lengthy, yet strong and agile player who really can score from anywhere on the floor. He has a very strong dynamic to his game. The Wizards will do well do well to utilize everyone in their arsenal to defend him. Those players include rookie Bilal Coulibaly, Deni Avdija, Kyle Kuzma, and even Johnny Davis off the bench. Stopping Brandon Miller should be the priority for the Wizards in this matchup.
