Grizzlies playing some of NBA's most exciting basketball

If you're a fan of youthful, fast-paced and exciting basketball, the Memphis Grizzlies may be a team you want to start tuning into and watching each time they play.

Memphis features some of the most young and exciting players in the NBA, and that young core has led the team to an 17-8 record and the current No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

Guard Ja Morant is at the forefront of the core, and he is a must-watch player on a nightly basis.

Morant has missed 11 games this season, but Memphis has picked up the slack during his missed time.

The Grizzlies lead the NBA in scoring with 122.1 points per game. A huge part of that is Memphis has seven players averaging double-digit points this season.

Forward Jaren Jackson Jr. leads the Memphis scoring with 21.9 points per game. Morant is closely behind, as he averages 21.7 points per game.

Besides Jackson Jr. and Morant, other key contributors for Memphis have been guard Desmond Bane and rookie center Zach Edey.

Bane is giving Memphis 14.5 points and six rebounds per game, good for third on the team in both categories.

Edey, the former two-time Naismith College Player of the Year at Purdue, is having a nice rookie season in Memphis. He is averaging 11.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in an average of just over 20 minutes per contest.

If Memphis is able to maintain its offensive production and Morant can stay healthy for the remainder of the season, the Grizzlies will remain one of the best teams in the NBA.
