The Atlanta Hawks have been through ups and downs this season, but they've been able to overcome and still stay competitive. With the loss of Jalen Johnson for the year, it was uncertain how they would respond without their second-best player. They also traded away De'Andre Hunter, who was playing some of his best basketball this season but were able to get some solid veterans in return such as Caris LeVert and Georges Niang. They also acquired Terance Mann in a trade that sent Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Fast forward to the end of the season, and the Hawks have found themselves in a position to make the playoffs, but they first have to get through the Play-In Tournament.
With their latest win against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Hawks clinched the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference and will face the Orlando Magic in the Play-In Tournament. The Hawks recently lost to the Magic on Tuesday, and they play them again in the final regular season game of the year.

If the Hawks defeat the Magic in the tournament, they'll face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. If they lose, they'll face whoever wins between the Miami Heat or Chicago Bulls for the chance to play the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs.
