Atlanta Hawks forward Cam Reddish hasn't played since Feb. 21 due to right Achilles soreness and is expected to miss at least another 10-14 days of action.
That timeline should keep the 21-year-old out through the first-round playoff series versus the New York Knicks that begins Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
"He warmed up with us," interim coach Nate McMillan told reporters following Wednesday's practice, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). "He's been doing a little shooting. But I haven't gotten anything that he'll be participating in practice with the team anytime soon."
Reddish started 21 of 26 games this season and averaged 11.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest before the injury. He has thus far missed 42 consecutive games leading up to Sunday's matchup.
There's no guarantee Reddish will be able to go in even a limited role this spring if the Hawks get past the Knicks. Logic suggests Atlanta would restrict his minutes due to a lack of in-game work over the past three months.
