Hawks Fans Get Good News With Latest NBA Trade Rumors

The latest NBA trade rumors indicate the Atlanta Hawks roster could look a lot different after Thursday's deadline passes. Atlanta appears to be one of the more aggressive teams in NBA trade talks.

De'Andre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic have been two Hawks players frequently floated in trade rumors. NBA insider Marc Stein reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers are "ramping up" their pursuit of Hunter.

"The Cavaliers have indeed ramped up their interest and background work on Atlanta's De'Andre Hunter, league sources say, making them a fascinating Deadline Day watch," Stein detailed in a Thursday message on X. "Are the Cavs, at 41-10, truly willing to make a roster-altering move today?"

The biggest news comes from ESPN's Brian Windhorst who predicts the Hawks will make "one to two deals" before the NBA trade deadline passes. It is at least a good sign for Atlanta, who is fighting to make the NBA playoffs.

"The Atlanta Hawks, a team that's sinking in the standings," Windhorst explained during Thursday's edition of "Get Up." "One of the most aggressive teams in talks over the last 24, 48 hours. Look for them to make one to two deals today."

Like all NBA teams, the Hawks have until 3 p.m. EST to strike a deal. One name to watch is Cleveland Cavaliers wing Caris LeVert who has been linked to Atlanta.

"Multiple sources tell cleveland.com that the Cavaliers have expressed interest in Hawks sixth man De’Andre Hunter," Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor wrote on Wednesday.

"Those talks with Atlanta, sources say, are centered on free-agent-to-be Caris LeVert — a fixture of Cleveland’s every-night rotation and a Kenny Atkinson favorite, going back to their days together with the Brooklyn Nets."
