On Sunday, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young sent a message to the New York Knicks leading up to the Eastern Conference finals.
On the same day, the Oklahoma City Thunder clinched a blowout 125-93 victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7. This gave them the spot to go against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference finals.
Young's message came after the Knicks fans went viral for celebrating their team's return to the conference finals. The city was filled with the organization's supporters, celebrating nonstop and living up to their reputation of being one of the most passionate fan bases.
However, the Hawks' star disagrees and believes Oklahoma City's fans are more passionate.
"Hot take but not.. OKC fans are louder than Knick fans. Happy Sunday!" Young posted on X.

OKC fans are louder than Knick fans.
Happy Sunday!
Young has played in front of Knicks fans countless times. He's created a persona as a villain of the New York franchise. However, it hasn't bothered him and has continued to put on a show.
He also poked fun at Knicks fans in the past.
"Hope these NY fans find their way to the exit real real quick... boo take y'all ass home"

Additionally, he's aware of how loud the Oklahoma crowd can get. He played for the University of Oklahoma for one season in college. During his time with the university, he achieved plenty of accolades.
Young was the NCAA scoring champion, the NCAA assists leader, the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and part of the First-team All-Big 12. The four-time All-Star averaged 27.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 8.7 assists.
He's kept close ties with the university and was named the assistant general manager for the men's basketball program in April.
