The Hawks have waived forward Cameron Corhen and guard Kobe Johnson, the team announced Saturday, leaving their expected regular-season roster in place.
Atlanta is carrying 15 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals. Fourteen of the standard salaries are guaranteed, with Mouhamed Gueye holding the lone non-guaranteed contract.
Corhen and Johnson were the Hawks’ final two camp invitees. Both are expected to join the College Park Skyhawks after playing for Atlanta during Summer League and making limited preseason appearances.
Johnson played for College Park last season, so the Skyhawks already hold his returning rights. His Exhibit 10 agreement provides a $91,000 bonus if he spends at least 60 days with the affiliate.
Corhen went undrafted out of Pittsburgh in June and could join College Park as an affiliate player. His contract includes a $40,000 bonus tied to the same 60-day requirement.
The Hawks don’t need to make any further cuts before Monday’s roster deadline. Gueye’s salary remains non-guaranteed, but Atlanta has room to carry its current group into opening night.
