Led by four players in double figures, a dominating bench effort and strong three-point shooting, the Heat cruised to a Game 2 victory.
Heat center Bam Adebayo led the team in scoring with 23 points, adding nine rebounds and three assists. Forward Jimmy Butler had 22 points for the Heat, with six rebounds and 12 assists.
Meanwhile, guards Victor Oladipo and Tyler Herro led a strong effort from Miami's bench. Oladipo had 19 points and six rebounds, while Herro finished with 18 and seven rebounds. The Heat's bench dominated on Wednesday night, outscoring the Sixers' bench 52-19.
Miami was also deadly from the three-point line, shooting 48.3% (14-of-29) to the Sixers' 26.7% (8-of-30). Guard Max Stus, Oladipo and Herro had three three-pointers apiece, shooting 9-of-15 combined from beyond the arc.
The Sixers again struggled mightily without 2022 MVP candidate Joel Embiid, who is out with an orbital fracture and concussion.
Without Embiid in the lineup for the second straight game, Tyrese Maxey, James Harden and Tobias Harris led the charge for the Sixers.
Maxey led all scorers in the game with 34 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the field. Harden had 20 points and nine assists, while Harris finished with 21 points and four rebounds.
The Heat will look to take a 3-0 advantage when the series shifts to Philadelphia for Game 3 on Friday. Miami and Philadelphia will tip off Friday at 7 p.m.
