Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo is the newest member of the Jordan Brand family.
Jordan Brand announced Friday that Adebayo landed a deal with the company after previously endorsing Nike.
"It hasn't sunk in yet, but it will soon, even just based on the simple fact that everybody knows who MJ is and what he's done for the game of basketball," Adebayo said of joining Michael Jordan's clothing and footwear label. "Being able to say that I'm part of the brand makes me sit back and really cherish everything. I'm looking forward to the experience."
Adebayo joins many NBA players in signing with Jordan Brand, including Bradley Beal, Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum and Russell Westbrook. Several NFL players are also signed with the brand, including Dont'a Hightower, Cameron Jordan, Dwayne Haskins, Stephon Gilmore and Davante Adams, among others.
Adebayo has been a key player for the Heat over the last two seasons. He's averaging a career-high 19.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game this season while shooting 57.1% from the field and 33.3% from deep.
