Heat's Jimmy Butler discusses life during coronavirus outbreak

Jimmy Butler and his Miami Heat teammates used to wake up early and hit the basketball court every day around 3:30 a.m, but the coronavirus has since made that impossible.

On the "What's In Your Glass" Instagram chat on a split-screen with Carmelo Anthony, Butler sad he normally works out early so he has the rest of the day to do whatever he wants, but the COVID-19 outbreak has him sitting home all day, so he doesn't need to workout as early at the moment.

As for what Butler is actually doing during quarantine... he's indulging in the sweeter things in life.

"When I tell you I ain't been doing nothing but drinking wine and working out, I mean I ain't been doing nothing but drinking wine and working out," Butler said, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "I'm waiting for this thing to blow over."

While he's drinking a lot of wine and working out, Butler also said he's been spending much more time with his daughter who was born during the first week of the NBA season.

"If I was hooping, if I was working right now, I wouldn't get to spend as much time with her," he said. "I'm just legit chilling with the family."

Obviously the Heat star misses working out, but the time spent with his daughter is something he wouldn't have had if the 2019-20 campaign was still underway.

Considering he's still working out every day, Butler will certainly be ready to compete if and when the NBA season resume.
