Heat's Tyler Herro listed as questionable for ECF Game 7

On Friday, the Miami Heat kept its season alive, forcing a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Boston Celtics in Game 6, 111-103.

When the Heat take the court for Game 7 on Sunday, they hope to be joined by the sixth-man of the year, Tyler Herro.

Herro has missed the last three games of the series with a left groin strain. On Saturday's injury report, the Heat officially listed Herro as questionable for Game 7.

Kyle Lowry, Max Strus, P.J. Tucker, and Gabe Vincent are also listed as questionable on the injury report but are expected to play.

Ahead of Game 6, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra left the door open for a possible return for Herro, saying the 22-year-old guard was doing "everything he possibly can" to convince the team he's ready to play.

Over the first three games of the series against the Celtics, Herro has averaged 12.3 PPG, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists, playing 23.8 minutes per game.

For the playoffs, Herro is averaging 13.5 PPG, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 14 games.

Herro averaged 16.7 PPG, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 66 regular-season games.

The Heat will host the Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
