Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets lost their first home game of the season on Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn at Barclays Center.

The Nets fell to 1-2 after the Charlotte Hornets spoiled their home-opener 111-95.

Even with former part-owner Jay-Z in attendance and the excitement from the crowd to see their star-studded team for the first time all season, they lost by double-digits.

LaMelo Ball had 18 points, five rebounds and five assists, but it was the play of Miles Bridges that was the surprise.

The former Michigan State star went off for 32 points and nine rebounds.

After the game, Durant who had an incredible 38 points on 70% shooting, spoke to the media.

The rest of the Nets starting lineup had only 30 points.

"It's three games in, of course we've got enough," Durant said after the game.

The Nets are still obviously missing their seven-time All-Star Kyrie Irving, but even with Durant and James Harden they have not looked good to start the new season.
