Hornets Push Winning Streak to Three Heading Into the Break
USA TODAY Sports

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - With Wednesday night's 122-99 win over the Atlanta Hawks, the Charlotte Hornets ride into the All-Star break on a three-game winning streak - their longest of the season.

Cody Martin, Tre Mann, and even Brandon Miller did an exceptional job of keeping Atlanta's Trae Young in check, responsible for just 12 points on the night. As a team, Atlanta couldn't find any luck from beyond the arc, knocking down just 9/38 shots from deep.

Charlotte closed out the third on a 15-7 run and kept about a 12-14 point stiff arm for much of the fourth before blowing the game open in the final minutes.

Best of the Night: Tre Mann

It was only his third game in a Hornets uniform, but Tre Mann looks like he already fits in perfectly with this new-look bunch. He's gotten better with each outing and tonight was by far his best, playing an all-around game with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Worst of the Night: No basketball for a week

The Hornets finally catch fire and now, they run into the All-Star break. That's about the only negative to what happened tonight.

Stat of the Night: Brandon Miller tops another rookie list

In the first half of tonight's game Miller took the top spot for the most three-pointers made by a rookie in Hornets franchise history, surpassing D.J. Augustin from the Bobcats era (2008-09 season).

Highlight of the Night:
