OKLAHOMA CITY — Devin Booker didn’t just vent after Wednesday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder — he reignited one of the NBA’s most important debates in recent years.

The All-Star’s postgame frustration centered on what he described as an uneven whistle that disrupted both his rhythm and the Phoenix Suns’ offensive flow. He didn’t shy away from calling out a referee, either, underscoring the depth of his frustration to the point that the possibility of a fine seemed irrelevant.
