How Did NBA 'Warn' Mitchell Robinson?

The NBA is fatigued with New York Knicks Mitchell Robinson's online shenanigans. Although Robinson hasn't committed a crime or participated in heinous acts, his online activity rivals a high school student or a hopeful streamer striving for more followers. Robinson revealed the NBA's alleged hilarious reaction to his social media activities.

Despite past reports claiming he will return in January, Robinson has not played a game for the Knicks during the 2024-25 season. Yet, in light of Robinson not suiting up due to recovery from his ankle surgery, the Knicks center blows off steam by posting videos on Instagram and TikTok.

However, in a recent Instagram post, Robinson revealed that his social media activity will lessen after the league office allegedly responded.

"I can't post basketball and body pics anymore; I always get hit with a drug test. "

If Robinson's claim about receiving multiple drug tests for his social media posts is valid, the NBA clearly communicated its opinion of such activities.

Although nothing Robinson has posted on social media comes close to Memphis Grizzlies Ja Morant's gun-flashing antics, perhaps the league envisions him uttering something unhinged that would embarrass the league or put the Knicks center in harm's way.

Robinson's social media activity will likely continue, but if he wants to avoid a fine or further drug tests, he should follow the NBA's blatant warnings.

Last season, Robinson averaged 5.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 31 games. The Knicks would rather have such production than social media antics from Robinson.
