LeBron James was among the first NBA stars to react after Bam Adebayo produced one of the most astonishing scoring performances in league history.
The Miami Heat center delivered a historic night that instantly sent shockwaves across the basketball world.
It also forced the NBA record books to be rewritten.
LeBron James on X quickly celebrated the moment on social media after watching Bam Adebayo’s extraordinary scoring display.
“BAM BAM BAM [boom and fire emojis],” the LA Lakers star wrote.
The reaction came shortly after Adebayo erupted for one of the most remarkable scoring performances the NBA has ever seen.
LeBron’s short but enthusiastic message reflected how stunned many players were by the scale of Adebayo’s achievement.
Adebayo finished the night with an incredible 83 points in the Miami Heat’s 150–129 victory over the Washington Wizards, making it the second-highest scoring game in NBA history.
The performance moved him past Kobe Bryant’s famous 81-point game from 2006 and placed him behind only Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point record.
He also broke the Miami Heat franchise record previously held by LeBron James, who scored 61 points for the team in 2014.
Adebayo’s stat line was equally remarkable, finishing 20-of-43 from the field, hitting seven three-pointers, and converting 36 of 43 free throws while adding rebounds and assists.
The historic outing instantly placed Adebayo among the most legendary single-game performances in NBA history.
