LeBron James made his season debut for the Los Angeles Lakers in their game against the Utah Jazz.
LeBron James officially became the first player in NBA history to play in a 23rd season.
During the game, James also climbed to 6th all-time in three-pointers made. In 30 minutes of action, James finished with 11 points and 12 assists.
After a slow start, James picked it up and so did the Los Angeles Lakers as they blew out the Utah Jazz 140-126.
James did start off slowly and he was held scoreless in the first quarter.
After heading to the bench for some rest, James returned and looked a lot better during his second shift and had a much stronger step to the basket.
The Lakers didn’t need much from James to beat the lowly Jazz as LeBron gradually got back into the speed of the game.
He did finish with 11 points and just barely extended his 10-point streak to a record 1,293 straight games.
James’ production during his return in his 23rd season did look a lot different than his career debut, which saw him score 25 points, grab 6 rebounds and hand out 9 assists.
