Injury Report, Updated Odds (10/19): Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Detroit Pistons

The Oklahoma City Thunder is set to face off against the Detroit Pistons at the BOK Center in Tulsa at 7 p.m. CT. This neutral site game will mark the end of Oklahoma City's five preseason games, all of which have shown promise from the Thunder's young core in one fashion or another.

Though it's unclear how much the Thunder will play its starters in this matchup, they've shown plenty enough in the preseason, and this acts as one final tune-up before the real deal begins in just under a week.

This is the Thunder's second time playing against the Pistons, with the first matchup coming in Montreal for Lu Dort's homecoming.

Outside of pre-existing injuries, it appears the Thunder are a full go ahead of their preseason finale. The starting lineup, as mentioned, has looked the part and appears ready for the NBA regular season.

For the Pistons, facing the Thunder starting lineup is a good test. They're still putting together their core of players and figuring out the best starting lineup to maximize their talents, and that's not something that comes easy. Playing a fully healthy Thunder tam helps expedite that process for them.

Updated Odds: 

The Thunder is 4.5-point favorites over the Pistons. This is on brand, as the Thunder is the more talented, deeper team. In a regular season matchup, this might be where the odds land before a matchup of this caliber.

Expect the Thunder to be favorites much more often this season, even if just short favorites. Also, reading into odds doesn't do too much in preseason when team's are getting back into the swing of things and minutes are allocated differently than in the regular season.
