International Notes: Chris Chiozza, Devontae Cacok, Kenneth Faried

NBA free agent point guard Chris Chiozza has signed with Turkish club Karşıyaka Basket for the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Instagram, via Sportando.

Chiozza, 29, went undrafted out of Florida in 2018 and split his first four pro seasons between the NBA and G League, mainly on two-way contracts. He appeared in 91 games with the Rockets, Wizards, Nets and Warriors, last playing for Golden State in 2021-22.

He has spent the past three seasons overseas, including last year with Manisa Basket, another team in Turkey’s Basketball Super League.

  • Ex-NBA forward Devontae Cacok has signed a one-year deal with Spanish club UCAM Murcia, per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando. Cacok, 27, played parts of three seasons with the Lakers and Spurs (2019-22) before stops in Russia and Italy. He was released by Virtus Bologna in November due to a knee injury but is reportedly fully recovered.

  • Virtus Bologna is reportedly interested in free agent forward Kenneth Faried, according to La Prealpina via Carchia. Faried, 35, averaged 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in eight NBA seasons and has since played in the G League, China, Russia, Italy and Puerto Rico.
