The Stephen Curry situation is now turning sour for the Golden State Warriors fans. As the fans are pleading for Curry to come back to the squad , the possibility seems to be diminishing with each passing day. And as the Warriors will be squaring off against the Washington Wizards, the team had yet more bad news for the fans.
The 38-year-old has been missing for almost 2 months now. Trying to get into the play-ins, the return of the 4-time NBA champion is of utmost importance. According to previous updates, the 2-time NBA scoring champion was supposed to participate in a live scrimmage with his teammates this week. Unfortunately, that is far from reality.

Warriors will provide update later this week.
In an official announcement, the Golden State Warriors updated that Curry is still not available to suit up for the team. Now then, sitting out of this game means that the 2023 NBA Finals MVP has now missed 24 games on the trot.
In his absence, the team is struggling and might be staring down at yet another unsuccessful season. Seeded 10th in the west, Steve Kerr’s men are 35-38 at the moment. As the team struggles to find its footing, Marc J Spears proposed an interesting alternative for the Warriors to explore.
Meanwhile, as doubts continue to rise, the team’s head coach made an important statement on the NBA icon.
Curry’s injury status keeps getting worse. This also pushes his return timeline further back. Shining light on the matter, Kerr recently provided an explanation for the 2-time NBA MVP’s mysterious situation. According to the Warriors’ head coach, the management does not want to take any risks.
“If we don’t feel good about [Steph’s knee], then he’s not going to play. We’re not pushing him into anything if things aren’t really clear,” said Kerr.
