Former All-Star Isaiah Thomas is once again in the NBA after signing his latest 10-day contract with the Charlotte Hornets.

This is great news for Thomas, who played brief stints for both the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks earlier this season.

His signing with the Hornets is a big deal and proves that this guy’s determination and hard work has paid off again.

But even though he’s celebrating his new team, he’s not happy about the picture they chose to welcome him.

Thomas jokingly responded to the image the team shared of him on Twitter.

He joked, “Not the fat face and braids smh lol,” after the team put up a picture of Thomas welcoming him to Buzz City.

He might not excited about the picture they selected for him but he is definitely ready to show the Hornets what he’s got in store for them.

Charlotte Needs Thomas

Thomas comes to the Hornets at a point when the team needs more than a little assist.

There was a lot of hope for this young team when the season began and, sure enough, for a while, the team was doing quite well.

However, the Hornets have recently taken a step back and are now sitting at ninth place in the Eastern Conference, meaning they are battling to make the NBA Play-In Tournament to secure a place in the playoffs.

Thomas will help the team out with their offense.

He was putting up more than 40 points during his time in the G League – the Hornets aren’t expecting him to create numbers like that but they are certainly hoping he will do something special in the next ten days.

If he does, perhaps Thomas will remain in Charlotte a lot longer.
