Ja Morant goes off on Grizzlies’ coaching staff after loss

There appear to be problems in Memphis as their star player, Ja Morant, seems to be frustrated. The Grizzlies recently fell 117-112 to the Los Angeles Lakers with Morant finishing with just eight points and seven assists while shooting 3-14 from the field.

After the game, Morant was asked about his performance, to which he replied, “Go ask the coaching staff.” Morant followed that up by saying, “According to them, probably don’t play me, honestly. That’s basically what the message was. It’s cool.”
