The New York Knicks are not disappointing fans with their success this season. After winning the Emirates NBA Cup, they once again amazed their supporters during All-Star Saturday. Teaming up for the Kia Shooting Stars Challenge, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Allan Houston, and their celebrity passer—Knicks assistant coach (and Jalen’s dad) Rick Brunson—delivered an unforgettable show.

They faced off against three other teams at the Intuit Dome and emerged victorious, clinching the Shooting Stars Challenge title. While Brunson played a key role in their triumph, he revealed in a recent interview that, despite the win, he didn’t find the tournament enjoyable and shared why.

“First off, are you having fun yet?” NBC Sports reporter Ashley ShahAhmadi asked.

Brunson: “No, whenever I’m with him, it’s never fun. It was a passer, I wouldn’t say a ‘celebrity’ passer, but he did his job.”

During the event, the Brunsons took to the microphone. Rick playfully teased his son, which led Jalen to jokingly criticize his dad afterwards, admitting that their time together was never an easy ride.

Jalen Brunson Labels Josh Hart The Most Annoying Figure In The New York Knicks Locker Room

Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart’s dynamic is all about hilarious hijinks rather than a typical teammate bond. Hart loves to pull pranks and jokes on Brunson, and one standout moment was during the NBA Cup trophy ceremony when he playfully poked Brunson’s bottom. Recently, Brunson didn’t hold back in an interview, labeling Hart as the most annoying person in the New York Knicks locker room.

DeMarcus Cousins: “Who’s the most annoying person in your locker room and what does he do to annoy you?”

Jalen Brunson: “I’m pretty sure the world saw what he’s done. I’m not gonna say his name. Number 3 on the Knicks. He’s the most annoying person ever.”

Not only do they bring lighthearted banter, but their dominance on the court is truly impressive. The Knicks are currently sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference standings, boasting 35 wins and 20 losses. Up next, they’ll face off against the Detroit Pistons at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
