NBA players are known to attract a significant amount of attention from fans wherever they go. But the scale of this was only made apparent during this year's Adidas tour in China, featuring James Harden and Jalen Williams.

As part of Adidas' Uno tour, Harden was greeted by enthusiastic crowds, who poured in to see the Clippers superstar in person. The guard's popularity among fans in China has proven to be noteworthy.

From fans at the airport hailing his arrival to the surprise unveiling of a court dedicated in his honor, Harden has been greeted with tremendous hospitality.

This aspect has continued, as the 35-year-old was scheduled to attend another event at an Adidas store at a mall in Shenzhen. When considering the sheer size of the audiences at other events, the spectacle at the mall surpassed all previous gatherings.

The mall was packed with fans, who were eager to see Harden. The sight was a clear testament to his reputation as a global superstar.

Aside from Harden, several players have been touring China this offseason. D'Angelo Russell also drew in a massive crowd, as did Ja Morant, who was unveiling his new shoes.

Another player who has received immense support from the fans in China has been Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams.

Like Harden, Williams is also on tour in China with Adidas. When the guard landed in Shanghai, he was swarmed by ecstatic fans at the airport when he arrived after midnight. Much to his credit, the young star signed autographs for as many fans as possible.

Williams has been a rising star in the league. After a spectacular season with the Thunder, the 24-year-old established himself as one of the best two-way players in the league, while carving out his identity as a reliable co-star.

Considering his tremendous performances in the NBA Finals, especially while playing through an injury, the young star has earned widespread praise. The emergence of a fan following is well-deserved.

Given Williams' rise to stardom, the Thunder are primed to be favorites next season as well. Led by one of the most talented young players in the league, the reigning champs will look to win it all again.

The attention displayed by fans in China is a nod to the NBA and its reach beyond the borders of the United States. Having developed into a global brand, appealing to the furthest corners of the globe, the league continues to expand its horizons by connecting with fans through its stars.

Given the ongoing discussions about international expansion and potential Euroleague acquisitions, the NBA could be primed for greater growth in the coming years.
