James Harden has had an amazing career in the NBA. From being the third option in OKC to becoming the franchise player for the Houston Rockets. To now being part of a super team with the Brooklyn Nets.

During his time with the Rockets, Harden developed a unique type of playing style. He used to fill up the stat sheet, which worked well for his team. The unique thing that Harden used to do was to earn a lot of free throws. But unless you are making those free throws, it's no good. Which was no problem for Harden as he was one of the best free throw shooters in the entire league.

Harden is a career 85.8% free throw shooter, but the unique thing about that aspect of his game is the sheer volume of shots he makes from the charity stripe.

Reddit user u/Michael_Jorbald pointed out that Harden has made more free throws in his career than field goals. So far, he has knocked down 6574 FTs and 6513 FGs. This is a true testament to his ability to earn and make those foul shots.

While it is an amazing skill, for oppositions, it gets quite annoying. There have been many instances where the Beard has received a lot of backlash from fans for getting a lot of 50-50 calls in his favor.

Harden's game plan has now changed since joining the Brooklyn Nets. He has taken up more of a facilitating role and delegated the scoring duties to his teammates.

Whatever be the case, his playing style works for his team. Moreover, in the 2021-22 NBA season, the Nets will be at their 100%. If Harden wants to add a championship ring to his resume, this is the perfect opportunity for him.

He is in the prime of his career and has a perfect team built around him with decent bench strength as well. If the Nets make it out of the East, they will most likely face the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals. It will be exciting to see two of the best teams in the NBA head to head on the biggest stage.
