In yet another unsurprising result, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns last night. Taking on one of the best teams in the NBA, the Lakers didn't show any signs of improvement or getting back on track, losing by a significant margin. And one Lakers legend was not even shocked at the way they've played.

Lakers legend James Worthy reacted to the Lakers' latest loss, heaping praise on the Phoenix Suns for the way they played. He noted that the Lakers continued to show all the problems they had, and noted that they have no degree of endurance or resilience, something they only further proved last night.

“Phoenix, as everyone has seen all year long, they are a well-oiled team. They’re without Chris Paul and they still seem to flourish. The Lakers have a problem. Anytime they go small-ball, they have a problem with bigs in the paint. Ayton just tore them up in the paint… That’s how they play. You don’t know who is going to score, you don’t know who its going to be. Obviously they have a closer in Booker but this kid (Ayton) was just in the painters well as the rest of the team. We’ve talked about the Lakers shortcomings till we’re blue in the face. Defense, turning the ball over, its just another example of not having any endurance.”

The Lakers really need to get things figured out quickly because time is running out. The Lakers will be hoping that Anthony Davis returning will help them figure their way out as a team. But LeBron James spoke after the game about AD's return, noted that he isn't too focused on that, as his return is still some time away.

Celtics legend Kevin Garnett believes that the Lakers just need to make it to the playoffs, as no team in the Western Conference wants to see them. The Lakers have a pretty massive task ahead of them if they want to make it to the playoffs over the next month.
