Jaxson Hayes has a de facto no-trade clause in his new contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Hayes has agreed to a one-year deal with the Lakers three years in a row.

Hayes appeared in 56 games for the Lakers last season. He averaged 6.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks while shooting 72.2% from the field.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick benched Hayes in the second half of Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves and all of Game 5.
Los Angeles lost to Minnesota in the first round of the 2025 playoffs in five games.
Hayes, 25, has played for the New Orleans Pelicans and Lakers. He has career averages of 6.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 367 NBA games.
