Jaylen Brown Addresses Concerns On Jayson Tatum's Injury Situation In Game 4

The Boston Celtics suffered a massive blow in Game 4 when their star, Jayson Tatum, went down with an ankle injury. With the Celtics also suffering a 121-113 loss shortly after, Jaylen Brown addressed the concerns related to the injury heading into the upcoming game. He said:

"I think everybody is concerned with Jayson. I'm not sure how bad it is. Didn't look great. But I think everybody is more concerned with that."

"Obviously, the loss is huge. But we've got to get ready for Game 5. So we will take the night, think our heads up tomorrow, and put together a game plan to come out on our home floor to keep this series alive."

Jayson Tatum sustained an ankle injury late in the fourth quarter of Game 4. Considering the performance the forward was having, Tatum was single-handedly holding off the New York Knicks and their late-game charge led by Jalen Brunson.

The concerns regarding Tatum's injury are very relevant. Although he hasn't been the most reliable player for the series, he was incredible on Monday night. In 40 minutes of playing time, the 27-year-old recorded 42 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. 

He was also a menace on the defensive side of the ball, constantly disrupting plays and intercepting passes. By doing so, he contributed four steals and two blocks to the Celtics' efforts.

Unfortunately, Tatum received very little aid from his team. Derrick White contributed 23 points on 6-11 shooting from the three-point line. Meanwhile, Brown himself had a mediocre performance of 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists on 7-16 shooting from the field. The remainder of the Celtics' lineup barely made an impact on the team's overall output.

The Celtics' star player could miss more time than expected. After being carried off the court, Tatum was seen heading to the locker room in a wheelchair. This could spell disaster for the team as they head back home for what could be their last game of the postseason.
