Jaylen Brown’s season might be over, but he’s not done with his tirades, even though the league already fined him for it. And after Stephen A. Smith berated him to get off the microphone, the Celtics star caught a wind of it and replied in the most brutal manner.

Despite having an MVP-worthy season, Brown was dissatisfied with how his season ended. The Boston Celtics were a legit contender in the East, but surprisingly fell in the first round of the playoffs this year. After being kicked out in the postseason, the 29-year-old went live online with some controversial takes.

That’s why when he heard what Stephen A. Smith said about him, he quickly clapped back at the controversial media personality with a brutal rebuttal.

“I’ll “be quiet” / stop streaming if you “be quiet” and retire let’s give the people what they want,” Brown wrote on X.

Truth be told, there are quite a legion of fans who do not like Stephen A. He’s a bit over the top with his takes. But for Jaylen Brown, he does need to tone it down a bit. You know it’s getting out of hand when Brad Stevens has decided to chime in on the issue.

Jaylen Brown Announces His Love For Boston

Brown’s online tirades have everyone questioning the same thing: Does he want to get out of Boston? Several media personalities have suggested there may be turmoil behind the scenes between JB and the Celtics. However, the 2024 Finals MVP finally debunked those rumors in his own show.

“I hate that Brad [Stevens] even had to respond to this… but if it was up to me, I’d play in Boston for the next 10 years. I love Boston,” Jaylen Brown said.

Good for him to clear things out. But he’s the sole reason why the rumor of him wanting out of Boston started in the first place. Maybe Stephen A. Smith’s suggestion wasn’t too bad at all. Brown should enjoy his vacation and talk less about the controversy to die down.
