Jaylen Brown hilariously summed up Pacers' Game 3 performance

The Indiana Pacers nearly gutted out a Game 3 victory in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. And they did so with guard Tyrese Haliburton sidelined due to a hamstring strain.

After leading by 18 points twice (once in the second quarter and again in the third), the Pacers were unable to hold off a furious surge by the Celtics and ultimately fell 114-111. With Haliburton sidelined, the Pacers received a few stellar performances, including Andrew Nembhard scoring 32 points with nine assists on 12-of-21 shooting. T.J. McConnell also wrapped up the night with 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting with nine rebounds and six assists.

The impressive stat lines from a few unexpected Pacers brought an incredible one-liner from Celtics star Jaylen Brown, as CLNS Media revealed.

“Some of those guys turned into f---ing Michael Jordan or whatever," Brown told reporters.

It was both a great line and also a tip of the cap of sorts to the Pacers for stepping up in Haliburton's absence.

In the end, a dominant late stretch and strong play from Boston's starters proved too much. Jayson Tatum finished the night with 36 points on 12-of-23 shooting while knocking down 5-of-10 attempts from three-point range along with 10 rebounds and eight assists.

Brown tacked on 24 points while Al Horford once again stepped up in the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, knocking down an impressive 7-of-12 three-point attempts and scoring 23 points with five rebounds.
