It has almost been a decade since the Boston Celtics drafted Jaylen Brown. Since then, Brown has sprouted into one of the NBA's best two-way wings, making multiple All-Star games and helping the Celtics win their 18th title as a franchise.

All indications are that Brown will be in Boston for the long haul. ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel reported on Friday that the Celtics will not be trading Brown even after Jayson Tatum's Achilles tear.

Brown has not only built his on-court legacy with the Celtics, but he's also made his mark on the Boston community. He's opened up his own business while advocating for social justice. It's clear how much his time in Boston has meant to him.

Just one day after this report, Brown spoke with NBC10 Boston. He called the city home, while acknowledging some of the outside noise surrounding himself and the Celtics.

“Boston is home," Brown said. "I've been here for 10 years of my life. Even though sometimes online or in the media there's a lot of noise, once you get out in the community, there's a lot of love and genuine connection, and I get to see that today.”

In his time as a Celtic, Brown has made four All-Star teams, one All-NBA team, was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP, NBA Finals MVP, and has won a title with the team.

When the Celtics selected Brown as the No. 3 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, it came with plenty of skepticism. Since then, Brown has proven on and off the court that Boston nailed the pick.
