There is a good argument to be made that the Boston Celtics wouldn’t be where they are without Jaylen Brown. He is coming off his best season to date as the Celtics finished at 56-26 and are the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
To relax, Brown has decided to take tap-dancing lessons. On Snapchat, Brown posted a video of himself showing off his skills.

Meanwhile, Boston is awaiting either the Philadelphia 76ers or the Orlando Magic as its opponent in the first round.
Altogether, Brown finished the season averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. He also shot 47.7% from the field. In many ways, Brown is having a strong MVP-caliber season.
Brown has been with Boston since 2016. Since then, he has become one of the league’s most elite offensive forces and a true leader. In 2024, Brown helped lead Boston to the NBA championship by defeating the Dallas Mavericks in five games.
As a result, Brown was rewarded with the 2024 NBA Finals MVP.
Since then, Brown has become a five-time NBA All-Star in 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. Additionally, he has become the 5th player in franchise history to score 10,000+ points.
He is also 5th amongst all Boston players for the most 40+ point games in history, with 12.
In addition, Brown has cultivated a Renaissance man identity for his court-related ventures, including investments in educational programs, social justice activism, and securing a fellowship at the MIT Media Lab.
So it is not surprising that Brown would take on different social and cultural pursuits, including tap dancing.
