The Boston Celtics are shockingly down 2-0 to the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The defending champions blew 20-point leads in Games 1 and 2.
After Game 2, Celtics star Jaylen Brown said it was "inexcusable" for him and his teammates to blow two 20-point leads at home.
"Two games we're up 20 points somehow end up not with wins is inexcusable," Brown said. "Obviously being down two, it sucks."
Games 3 and 4 are set to be played in New York at Madison Square Garden. Brown and the Celtics will likely be underdogs in both games.
The 2024 Finals MVP took to social media on Thursday with Game 3 set for Saturday. The All-Star swingman posted what seemed to be an inspirational quote.

Brown had 23 points in Game 1 while shooting 7-of-20 from the field and 1-of-10 from 3. The Georgia native then had 20 points in Game 2 while shooting 8-of-23 from the field and 2-of-7 from 3. He also had six turnovers.
"A bunch of stuff that we can control. I feel like we played a little bit fast and sped up a little antsy," Brown said after Game 2. "It's a rough night."
The Celtics were down 3-0 to the Miami Heat in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals. They won three games in a row to force a Game 7, a contest Miami won in Boston to advance to the Finals.
Brown and Co.'s backs are against the wall in a big way. It's going to be fascinating to see how the Celtics play in Games 3 and 4 on the road.
