Jayson Tatum Announces Career News After 8 Celtics Games

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics saw their four-game winning streak snap on Sunday night, falling to 47-24 on the 2025-26 NBA season after a 102-92 loss to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, the Celtics will turn their attention to Wednesday's game, facing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder at TD Garden.

Tatum missed most of the season after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in last year’s second-round matchup against the New York Knicks in the NBA playoffs. After sitting out 63 games, the former Duke star returned on March 8 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. And in eight games since, Tatum has struggled, which is expected for a player coming off a serious injury, averaging 19.1 points on 38.8% shooting, along with 8.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Despite the injury, Tatum continued to build his portfolio off the court, partnering with numerous major brands such as Jordan Brand, Gatorade, Subway, Apple and SoFi. He even released a five-part documentary called "The Quiet Work," which followed the rehabilitation from his Achilles tear over the last year. But Tatum wasn't done there.

On Tuesday, Tatum announced the launch of his latest partnership with Onside, a new men's body care brand that offers products such as body spray, deodorant and face cream. The line features the slogan "designed for movement," and will be exclusively available at Target.

"Proud to launch @onside," Tatum wrote on Instagram. "A men’s care brand designed for movement. Available now exclusively at @target"

Tatum's announcement also included a video of the Celtics star preparing for a day of basketball with his new products.

"Greatness isn't born from single moments of brilliance," Tatum said in the video. "Its origins are forged in the quiet consistency of routine. Every small act of intention decides the future. Inspiration may spark the journey. But it's movement that accelerates it. Designed for movement. Onside."

Tatum and the Celtics will be back in action against the Thunder on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
