Utah Jazz star guard Donovan Mitchell finally made his return from the concussion protocol last week following an eight-game absence. Perhaps uncoincidentally, last season's No. 1 seed in the West has won three straight games since "Spida" re-entered the lineup.
Now, it sounds like Utah's All-Star big man may joining Mitchell and the rest of the team back on the hardwood in the near future as well.

The Jazz were one of the many teams that remained busy leading up to Thursday afternoon's NBA trade deadline, as they landed Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Juancho Hernangomez from the Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs, respectively, in a three-team deal on Wednesday. They also moved Joe Ingles, Elijah Hughes and a pair of second-round picks in the trade.
Gobert hasn't been in uniform since Jan. 23, sitting out the last eight contests. Still, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year has been one of the best centers in the NBA when on the court, as he's currently averaging a career-high 16.0 points per game, as well career highs (and NBA-bests) in rebounds per contest (15.1) and field goal percentage (70.7%).
The Frenchman was even picked ahead of former NBA MVP James Harden in Thursday night's All-Star Draft, though Harden's recent trade to the Philadelphia 76ers likely had something to do with that.
