The Jazz have claimed veteran center Tony Bradley off the waiver wire, sources tell Shams Charania of ESPN ( Twitter link).

Bradley was cut by the Knicks on Thursday. He was one of five veterans on Exhibit 9 contracts competing for a regular season roster spot in New York.

As Bobby Marks of ESPN notes (via Twitter), Bradley’s non-guaranteed training camp deal will be converted to a standard non-guaranteed contract. His cap hit will increase each day he’s on Utah’s roster until January, when the league-wide guarantee date occurs.

Bradley spent his first three NBA seasons with the Jazz after being selected 28th overall in the 2017 draft. He has made 234 regular season appearances over the course of his eight years in the league, including 41 in 2025/26 for Indiana and Atlanta.

Bradley, 28, holds career averages of 4.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per contest and recorded 5.3 PPG and 1.7 RPG in 7.5 MPG in three preseason games for the Knicks this month.

With Jusuf Nurkic out to open the season due to a toe injury, Utah was looking for reinforcements in the middle and found one in Bradley, who will occupy the 15th spot on the Jazz’s standard roster. Utah’s other centers include Jaxson Hayes, Mo Bamba and Kyle Filipowski, who made his preseason debut on Friday after undergoing offseason back surgery.

Bradley will earn $3.51MM this season if he sticks with the Jazz through the January guarantee date, while the team will carry a $2.45MM cap hit.
