After the NBA trade deadline, a new dynamic duo has formed in the league. Yes, we are talking about none other than James Harden and Joel Embiid. Although there is still some time left in the debut of Harden in a 76ers jersey, most fans are sure of their success.

Even without Harden, Embiid was having a phenomenal season, and he is the top contender to bag the 2022 NBA MVP award. Considering the fact that Embiid was taking the burden of additional responsibility due to the drama caused by Ben Simmons, Embiid deserves all the praise.

Now with Harden on the roster, the All-Star center can delegate at least some of the responsibilities to The Beard. Additionally, considering that Harden is a great playmaker and he will feed some great passes to the 76ers big man.

Keeping all these points in mind, the potential for the duo is through the roof. In fact, after the 76ers' recent victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Embiid addressed this point, and he issued a warning to the league about teaming up with Harden.

"I mean, he used to say Scary Hours. I say scary minutes. For all the 48 minutes we’re going to be on the floor all together. I’m just excited for us to be healthy. I got to keep doing what I’ve been doing and I’m sure my teammates are gonna follow. We’re pretty excited about what we can accomplish.”

As of now, first impressions of the league's new duo have been nothing but great. Apart from making big claims, it seems like the two are also trying to help improve each other's skillsets.

Recently Joel Embiid revealed why he tried to pull off Harden's signature step back move. After a few unsuccessful tries, the 76ers big man pulled it off against the Bucks and he certainly seemed happy about it.

Moving forward, fans will hope to see more of the same from both superstars and potentially an NBA Championship-winning campaign as well.
