James Harden has been having some fishy moments lately. Following his absence from back-to-back games, the Los Angeles Clippers’ fans sounded pretty concerned. Speaking with Ty Lue, the head coach, too, did not know many details about the same. Unfortunately, shortly after, reports about Harden’s possible trade rumor surfaced.

According to reports, Harden is currently in talks with the Clippers to join the Cleveland Cavaliers. And amid all the speculation, John Collins has made his feelings clear: it would be a shocker for him.

“It was shocking. Hell ya. It would be a shock for me and for the team. And what we’ve been able to do. Our season turned around. Definitely something different. Out of left field,” said Collins.

Surely, the 36-year-old played a pivotal role in somewhat salvaging the Clippers’ season. Initially, the team was looking down and out following the Chris Paul controversy. But now, they are in a position to even push for the playoffs. Meanwhile, even as Harden might leave, Collins recently dropped his honest take on how he wants to stay with the Clippers.

Amid the tumultuous season for the Los Angeles Clippers, the team has faced many ups and downs. With injuries significantly hampering their growth, the likes of Kawhi Leonard have lost significant game time.

Thankfully for the team, there is one name that does not want to abandon the Clippers, no matter the situation. Reflecting on his feelings, Collins said, “I feel like l’ve done what I can… I want to be in LA, want to be a Clipper.”

Thus, with the trade deadline seemingly shaking up the Clippers’ rosters, fans will be eager to see what’s next.
