Jonas Valanciunas is 'fully committed' to Nuggets 

After the Denver Nuggets traded for Jonas Valanciunas on July 2, rumors came out that the veteran center may leave the NBA. It was said Valanciunas was thinking about signing with the Greek EuroLeague team Panathinaikos.

After much speculation, Valanciunas has come out to say that he is fully committed to Nuggets. He will now play alongside Nikola Jokic.

“I want to clear the air about my playing situation next season now that Denver has made their decision to keep me,” Valanciunas said. “The idea of playing for Panathinaikos, closer to home, was very exciting to me. But that will have to wait.

“I am fully committed to honoring my contract with the Nuggets this season and will give it my all to compete for a championship.”

This is great news for the Nuggets. Jokic will now have help at the center position. Denver will now look to win another NBA championship.
