SAN ANTONIO — The Houston Rockets' second-longest losing streak of the season is over. Although it came against the San Antonio Spurs, who currently hold the league's third-worse record, the Rockets recorded a 122-110 victory inside the AT&T Center Saturday night.
Houston had a subpar first half but entered the break holding a 70-68 lead. The Rockets were able to distance themselves early in the third quarter, where they opened the period on a 7-0 run.
The Rockets withstood several runs from the Spurs during the period. But Houston's efforts led to a 95-90 lead entering the fourth.
Tari Eason had one of his most impressive performances of the season. He led the Rockets with 20 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3PT), five rebounds and a pair of blocks. Eason wasn't the only reserve who gave the Rockets a lift off the bench. Josh Christopher added 14 points shooting 6-for-11 in 17 minutes.
All five of Houston's starters scored in double-figures for Houston. Alperen Sengun recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds in the win, while K.J. Martin added 14.
DeVonte Graham led the Spurs with a team-high 28 points on 7-for-15 shooting, 7-for-12 from behind the arc. Graham scored 20 during the first half.

By recording a win over the Spurs, the Rockets ended an 11-game losing streak, their second-longest of the season. Houston recorded a season-high 13 straight losses from Dec. 15 to Jan. 23.
Rockets down 1-2 vs. Spurs:
With the win, the Rockets are trailing the Spurs 2-1 entering their regular-season series finale on Sunday. The Spurs won the previous two games by an average margin of 14 points.
