Josh Giddey has kicked off the 2025 season with tremendous impact for the Chicago Bulls, carrying them to a 6-1 record and the one seed in the Eastern Conference.

Giddey’s averaging near triple-double numbers, showing up in scoring, rebounding, and assists every night. His confidence and all-around game mark a clear step forward in his development.

Standing On Business

In the last game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Bulls overcame a 24-point deficit to stun the crowd to an 113-111 win.

Giddey led the way with 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists. That performance included his second straight triple-double, coming after a 23-11-12 effort the previous game.

Historic Company

Giddey became the first Chicago player since Michael Jordan in the 1988-89 season to post back-to-back triple-doubles.

That milestone places him in elite franchise company and underlines how rare his talent is. It also underscores his emerging role as a leader and difference-maker for this Bulls team.

What It Means For Chicago

With Giddey orchestrating the offense and contributing across the board, the Bulls gain a core anchor. A performance like that not only boosts the win column but builds identity and belief.

If he maintains this level of production, along with other young superstars in Chicago, they could emerge as a surprise contender in the East.

Who’s Up?

The Bulls head north up to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks in their second game of the NBA Cup. A good divisional rival should fuel more to the fire.

There is nothing more motivational than to be competing against the rival while you’re on a hot streak. It’s a good overall matchup and could be another appearance matchup in the playoffs.

End Of My Josh Giddey Rant

Consistency is key; opponents will adjust and game-plan around Giddey aggressively if he’s playing at this caliber. The rest of the team should definitely step up and prove it’s not just a one-man show. The team looks dangerous, although it’s so early, it’s something to look out for.
