Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday continues to remind the NBA just how valuable he can be.
Over his last five games, the veteran guard is averaging … 24.8 points, 6.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds.
Holiday is also shooting 58.2 percent from the field, 52.5 percent from three-point range and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line during that stretch.
The strong play has come at an important time for the Blazers, who enter the week 31-34 and holding the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference, the final play-in position.
Holiday’s ability to score, facilitate and defend continues to anchor Portland’s push for the postseason.
At 35, he may not dominate headlines.
But performances like this show he remains one of the league’s most reliable and complete guards.
Jrue Holiday over the last 5 games:
24.8 PPG
6.4 APG
4.6 RPG
58.2% FG
52.5% 3P
84.6% FT
31.1 MPGBecoming criminally underrated.
