The Los Angeles Clippers fell 98-79 to the Golden State Warriors last night. According to Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers’ selfish play on offense was a contributing factor to their struggles.
“A little stagnant,” Leonard said. “Golden State did a good job. Forcing things, making us play fast, and we got into a rhythm of just coming down the court. One pass shot, or not even that. Just come down shooting, and you can’t do that against a team like this, and they made us pay for it.”
Leonard, who faced controversy over the summer, finished the game with 18 points on 7-17 shooting. Now 2-2 on the season, LA appears to be in trouble unless they figure out how to play unselfishly.
