Kawhi Leonard's Status for Warriors vs. Clippers Revealed
© Scott Wachter-USA TODAY Sports

After falling to the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Thursday night, the LA Clippers will look to get back in the win column against the same opponent on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles. The Clippers have released their injury report for this game, and star forward Kawhi Leonard is not listed, meaning he will continue his perfect streak of games played to start the year.

Both Leonard and his co-star Paul George have yet to miss a game so far this season, which has been a great thing for the Clippers. With availability being the primary issue for both Leonard and George since joining the Clippers, it’s been great to see them out there every single game to start the year. While that has unfortunately not resulted in as many wins as the Clippers would have hoped, there have been a lot of moving pieces this season with the James Harden trade, and the Clippers are hopeful that they can soon turn a corner and combine their health with some continuity and consistency.

The Warriors presented a lot of challenges for the Clippers on Thursday, but having a day off in between that game and this game, LA should come into this one better prepared than they were in that loss. Afternoon games are always difficult, but both teams have the same circumstances, so there is no excuse for either side.

The Clippers and Warriors will tip-off at 1:00 PM PST at Crypto.com Arena.
