Kel’el Ware Breaks Silence on Trade Rumors as Future With Miami Remains in Question

Kel’el Ware has been making headlines recently. With the trade window closing, the Miami Heat had been involved in a lot of rumors. While most of the noise surrounded Ja Morant, an insider recently pointed out why the Heat did not trade him. But as it turns out, not only Morant, but Kel’el Ware, too, is going through an uncertain time. 

Ware has been showing some promise this season. He is averaging a decent 11.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 0.6 assists. Unfortunately, despite the numbers, his future with the Heat looks pretty much uncertain. Reflecting on the same, Kel’el Ware recently pointed out how he wanted his partnership with Miami to continue further down the line. 

“Just control what I can control. Go out there and play. If it happens it happens. If not I’m just going to continue to play. Yeah I feel like anybody would hope to stay with their current team,” said Kel’el Ware. 

Surely, if he can get some impressive performances going, then Ware might as well have his dream of staying in Miami granted. However, in a hilarious turn of events, Ware recently got posterized by Bam Adebayo.

Facing off against the Washington Wizards, the Miami Heat won the game 132-101. Unfortunately, at one point in the game, Ware was in a perfect position to receive the ball when Adebayo accidentally came in and dunked on his own teammate. 

While the incident was embarrassing for Kel’el Ware, Adebayo immediately apologized in the locker room. He said, “Boy, yeah, he’s not in here. Yeah. Hey, listen. Oh, yeah. They should be put through. I never… I don’t know, I don’t dunk on my teammates in the game like that,” said Adebayo. 

Ware too, replied to the incident saying, “I was in a good place, I was going to grab the rebound… he doesn’t even crash… then the unfortunate happened”

Thus, with things looking a bit complicated, fans will now wait to see what’s next for Kel’el Ware.
