Andrew Wiggins had the game of his life in Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. He was instrumental in the 4th quarter in stopping the Mavs from making a run. And aside from making timely buckets, it was how he made them that was so impressive, running in for some aggressive moves to the cup and some authoritative dunks.

Undoubtedly, the moment of the night was when he put Luka Doncic on a poster so vicious that the referees initially called it an offensive foul. Wiggins drove to the rim and elevated over Doncic before detonating with one hand. Even  Luka could do nothing but admire his move after the game . And Kendrick Perkins tweeted out after the dunk, reliving a traumatic memory of his own:

"That’s the same thing Blake Griffin did to me!!! That’s a BUCKET and a NFT. Carry the hell on…"

Back in 2012, when Big Perk was playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, he was put on one of the most iconic posters of all time by Blake Griffin. It was a vicious dunk and while it was better than Wiggins' by a little bit, it's easy to see why that came up in Perk's mind with the extension of the off arm.

The Oklahoma City Thunder had just been to the NBA Finals the year before and was a good team, but there is nothing a player can do in moments like these. Luka Doncic already has some very impressive career highlights, but as Perk said, the points count and it's a moment iconic enough to become an NFT, so Luka will just have to live with it.

What will have hurt a lot more is the loss. The Mavericks are now down 3-0 in the NBA Finals and at very serious risk of being swept. Although it is impressive that they have even made it this far, they will not want to go out with a whimper and a win in Game 4 is something they have to be looking at now.
