Kevin Durant Could Return In Time For NBA All-Star Game

And it sounds like Durant, who is a shoo-in for the upcoming NBA All-Star Game, will be able to make that event in Salt Lake City on February 19.

Shams Charania was on Bally Sports talking about Durant’s recovery time.

“There is optimism that he’s going to be able to return at some point before the All-Star break and play in the game in Salt Lake City,” Charania said.

This is great news for Durant’s legion of fans.

Obviously, he would be a major draw for the All-Star Game as he’s one of the best players alive and is having yet another incredible season.

Additionally, Durant has missed other big events, including the All-Star Game, in the past because of injuries.

People were worried that he would elect to not participate in the lively annual game due to his MCL strain.

But it sounds like he has the date circled on his calendar and is still looking to play.

Meanwhile, the Nets will attempt to keep building upon the success they have found recently so that they are still in fine form when Durant is ready to return.

The team has been on fire lately and is now the second-best crew in the East.
