Kevin Durant remains one of the greatest players in NBA history, even though the last few seasons of his career have not quite gone according to plan. Durant is arguably the most complete scorer the game has ever seen, with his 30,571 points ranking eighth all-time and his four scoring titles tied for the third-most in history.
While team success has eluded Durant in recent times, he continues to be a force on the court. The 36-year-old averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game for the Phoenix Suns in 2024-25 while shooting 52.7% from the field and 43.0% from beyond the arc.
Those are numbers that players would be extremely proud to put up at the absolute peak of their careers, let alone when they're in their 17th season like Durant was. What's helped the 15-time All-Star be so effective is that he's never been completely reliant on athleticism and is capable of scoring from anywhere on the court.
Durant has mastered a lot of moves over the years to give defenders nightmares, but there is one, in particular, that has become his signature. That would, of course, be the hesi pull-up jump shot, and a fan on X recently asked him how he had perfected it.
Reps.

Sometimes, the answer is just that simple. While there's plenty that people criticize Durant for, the one thing that's never been questioned is his work ethic. He has put in the hard yards to become one of the best we've ever seen.
