Kevin Durant planning to return to Nets lineup Sunday vs. Suns

The Brooklyn Nets will get Kevin Durant back for a key matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the four-time scoring champion is planning to play after missing the last three games with a left leg contusion.

Durant suffered the leg injury last weekend against the Miami Heat after colliding with Trevor Ariza while driving to the basket for a layup.

Although Durant will be back, the Nets are still without James Harden, who is dealing with a hamstring strain.

Brooklyn recently took over the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a 40-20 record. The Philadelphia 76ers held onto first place for most of the season but lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, dropping their record to 39-21 for second in the conference.
